John Boyle

Head of Technical Services

John brings over three decades of pharmaceutical industry experience, with deep expertise in formulation development, product scale-up and process validation. He has overseen the transfer of numerous products from UK sites to manufacturing facilities in Slovenia, Germany and Canada.

He previously managed a formulation and analytical unit, leading a multidisciplinary team that secured marketing authorisations for several innovative veterinary medicinal products. John has authored detailed pharmaceutical expert reports and is well versed in communications with regulatory authorities.

Outside work, John is an avid fly fisherman, gardener and hiker.

Neil Melville

Head of Analytical & Operational Services

Neil brings comparable industry experience, with a wealth of expertise in analytical testing and method development. At Novartis Animal Health and later Elanco, he led teams responsible for the analytical testing of veterinary medicines, including method development and validation for drug substances, finished products and degradation profiles.

He has authored an extensive library of GMP-compliant SOPs covering analytical practice, validation protocols and laboratory operations, performed gap analyses across a wide array of technical documents, and has a proven record of resolving critical analytical issues.

An avid musician, photographer and classic car enthusiast, Neil has been a member of a pipe band for over 40 years.
